HEAT TREATMENT
High-temperature heat treating is our specialty. We have a variety of electrically-heated furnaces capable of heating materials to temperatures up to 3200°C. Induction furnaces and resistance heated furnaces capable of heating at carefully controlled rates to exacting final temperatures are available. Our computer controlled gas fired kilns are capable of heating as high as 900°C.

PURIFICATION
In addition to heat treating we can purify graphite materials, down to impurity levels of parts per billion.
LIQUID IMPREGNATION & DENSIFICATION
Several autoclaves are available for impregnation with liquid coal tar or petroleum pitches, operating at temperatures up to 275°C and pressures up to 300 psi. Impregnation with resins or other materials is also available in a room temperature autoclave.
MOLDING & EXTRUSION
Choose from a selection of forming equipment for extrusion, pressure molding, or isostatic pressure molding. These presses are capable of operating over a wide range of temperatures and pressures.
